- Project: Bank of America - City Line Avenue
- Client: Bank of America
- Project Value: $1,800,000
- Architect: Blackney Hayes
This 4,400 SF new bank facility is one of the first 10 banking centers in the country to be part of the Bank of America LEED Construction Verification Program. This project received LEED Silver certification and was among 2 locations nationwide, to open as the new Bank of America prototype. All materials used are Green Certified (more than 25% post-consumer recycled content) and low VOC (volatile organic compound) including carpet, flooring, paint, adhesives, caulking, wood and drywall. 50% of the wood used is FSC certified wood (Forest Stewardship Council).
Coordination of project laydown on a busy city avenue was challenging as was the close coordination with owner vendors and suppliers. Increased inspections by LEED officials and an extensive commissioning process did not keep the bank from opening on deadline – in time for the busy holiday season.
